Nice try with that new VGA poll, but a bit insufficient in my oppinion. Now I'm seriously considering getting a Sprinter and (S)VGA support would certainly make my life with it much easier, although I won't base my decision just on that. But (S)VGA would also make Sprinter much more attractive for other applications and help to get it beyond the hobbyists' circles.
Peters Plus obviously don't realise the potential they've got on their hands - for instance there are people who will appreciate a no-fuss turn key wordprocessor without long boot time, crashes, viruses, yet file-compatible with M$ Office etc... Sprinter could quite easily become just that (especially if it had eZ80 ;), however without an (S)VGA monitor support this would make little sense. And just as well it could become an e-mail appliance, an industrial controll system or terminal etc. And although those are niche applications, the overall market for them would still be much bigger than just Speccy hobbyists, which would result in increased production and therefore lower prices giving it even more market edge...
And when we're at it - how about LCD support? They might start getting real cheap real soon...
