Which HDD & which CDrom? Reply to this post

1) Can I connecto to Sprinter any the newest CD-ROM? (It's difficult to find any old/slower one).

2) What HDD can I connect to Sprinter? The slowest (with 33 speed)? Or maybe I can use bigger disc with 66 speed? I mean: only DMA or UDMA?
And what can be cabalility of the HDD?

You can use 8x...40x, 52x... CD-ROM without any problems.

You can use UDMA disks too. 10Gb and 15Gb HDD works perfectly, for example. But such disks must be partitioned on 2Gb parts. As it require of FAT16 specification.

And what can be cabalility of the HDD?

Sorry, what it means? Usual features of HDD.

Well, today's Sprinter IDE controller allow to use 128Gb HDD maximum. But such hard disks will be more useful with FAT32, in future.
