Good monitor. And a nice case. Indicator of Turbo mode is very helpful thing on Sprinter. New AT cases has not such indicators. For example, look at the case which we use now for assemblage of Sprinter computer.

By the way, did PetersPlus thought about making a specific case for Sprinter? The motherboard is so small it's a shame to use a regular AT case... something half that size should be enough.
It seems you made your own cases in the past, would it be too expensive now? I think it would give a specific style to the Sprinter, instead of looking like a PC...

Yes, design and manufacture of special cases is too expensive for low rate manufacturing, which we have today. Also today's mainboard was designed for usage an AT case and external cards. Today Sprinter can use ISA modem and VGA converter. ISA General Sound coming soon, as we know. And may be, some another cards will be made too... Slim case as we saw, is not so comfortable in this case.

I have talked to contiki's author. He told me is possible a port of this graphical os for Sprinter under Estex...

Everything (TCP/IP, HTTP, HTML, etc.) is done by Contiki on the 8-bit system.

But I think is possible to do a better OS for Sprinter: Contiki is written for C64 and ported on other systems with the worst graphic of C64... I think is better to rewrite graphical part of it!
What a pity for MVG os! :(

Sprinter has operating system already. I say about Estex. It has not GUI and API but our OS allows to create any applications. We never were against another OS for Sprinter. But we have not a time to support all other system. At first, we are supporting developers of Estex applications. BTW Developer Zone will be opened on our site soon. It will be a gate for Registered Developers, but a first page will informed all visitors about active software projects.
So, we are ready to cooperation with programmers with different conditions of projects.
If access to Internet is real possibility which come with new OS - we are ready to support it.
About MVG... we are not waiting his finished tool (tool with GUI, not OS!). It was author's solution. It's a pity.
But we are waiting another interesting software. More detailed info coming soon.
