Tape Support Reply to this post

Hi, The last week I have made the cable for connect the Tape recorder to Sprinter...
The support for the Tape is great!!!
the quality of acquisition is more taken care of of the original Spectrum.
I have used the some tape player and some cassettes that they did not work with the Spectrum.
In the next few days I try some programs in order to verify the accuracy of the video timing.
The only defect is that the audio of the tape isn't audible like the original Spectrum.
An idea could be to reproduce through the Speaker since at the moment it dosen't come used for other.

Tape Support new [re: davidebarlotti]Reply to this post

I do agree completely. In my brief tests, I put a PC running WinAMP with the .TAP output support module, connected its SPEAKER-OUT to Sprinter's TAPE-IN, and I was able to LOAD "" a lot of Speccy games.

I did not try SAVEing to tape, yet, but anyway: Thumbs up for tape support!

Marcelo.
