there is a possibility....
There is zx-next: a speccy clone with ethernet card. Something was build for its. It could be possible with a port from this home pc to sprinter.

there is also another possibility: using modem for internet connection. I am working on zxbox project for connecting all speccy(s) to internet... tcp/ip stack was yet ported. But I think is better if we use sprinter estex os for less limitations (such as ram, resolution, speed etc.)
