I tried it a few weeks ago and found that fseek don't compiled again :(

When asked about it on the z88dk-developers mailing list Dom wrote "That does seem fishy. It's in the library and works as advertised for the Sprinter. support/ar/z80nm will list the contents of a library and both fseek and lseek appear there and a test example works on the emulator. It doesn't stop reading of course, but that's an issue with the estex emulation."
