Opera Reply to this post

The forums don't seem to quite work in Opera 7 - I can't even log in. I just thought you might be interested to know.

Dementhor:
I know this is no remedy, but if you like Opera (I do!), I am successfully using version 6.01.

I'll upgrade to 7.xx and see what happens. I don't want MSIE security holes in my PC. If I cannot get it to work, I'll go back to 6.01.

Hey, no worries. Opera 7 just crashed real bad on me, relieving me of my entire collection of bookmarks (and I'm not the only one with such kind of an experience), so I switched to Mozilla, which seems just fine.
BTW since I stopped using IE my PeeCee's been free of all the spyware that impossible to get rid of before.

Re: Opera new [re: Alexius]Reply to this post

I think it's not a browser related problem. This forum used one of security / authorization method as check REFERER field in HTTP-request. And if the browser didn't fill that field, then forum didn't allow to log in. And reported "The host you are trying to send the input from is not a valid host."
